I found Kristie's 16th birthday invitation (MINT CONDITION) while I was packing away my things. Oh, Silver and Black theme - CLASSY.

After Valentines Day everything was on sale so I got to have a pack of 18 Jam Donuts to myself.

Cat Ception. Do you like it? Alesha made it for me. Its Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum. To be honest... he tried to rip it apart when he woke up but HEY. It was cute while it lasted.

I think I would make a good dog person too. I love Sparkle. She is adorable and Twiddle Dee actually loves her scent.

I got a box of Estee Lauder Make Up for my birthday from my favourite aunt. :)

So this is my first post since I got back from the motherland!
I have no idea why i am wide awake... I slept at 5 or something... But that's okay.

I have been catching up on peoples blogs and Facebook pages. It's a highly efficient way of keeping informed without actually asking someone about their summer holidays which is fantastic for a recluse like me.

So I can rave on and on about my trip but pictures are more interesting right?

I've been living on chicken soup for a week. I don't think it helps my cold but in my head it does ahaha.

Brunch and shopping with Yeji was fun even though it wasn't really lunch but more like liquids until we got home and we had pizza and pasta. :) It was lovely!
We past the pet store as well and thats how we saw a dog version of my cat!

Christine slept over after we had a movie and bacon sesh @ danlu's. Candy bacon and Hickory nuts. It was yum! I love the dragon warrior so much!!! (KFP2). Rachel came over the day after but the photos are on my DSLR so i'll upload and tell you about our cat date maybe tomorrow :)

The day with Dsuh was tiring and wasn't really eventful. Some how between our 7km trek today we had Maccas, Starbucks & Nandos and a casual briefing of our activities for the past month (because someone obviously doesn't read my blog).

I found this the other day when I was cleaning my room.
Year 10, VA/PDM excursion at Cockatoo Island.

Yeji Kang's humble abode after the "Grade" picnic. Activities included Kareoke, The Sorcerer & The White Snake (I watched that again yesterday and cried like a little bitch) and very yummy pasta.

Bicen. Bridge - where flying fishes are found.

Lovely shopping day with Caroline on the 12th. We spent more money on food than shopping but that is okay. She also drove me home in her little car.

After the lovely day with Caroline, we reunited once more at Sonia Sahni's Post HSC party. I am liking where my post HSCness is going - partying and lazing about everyday.

So I OFFICIALLY finished my Higher School Certificate Examinations - FEELS GOOD!

There was this random guy dressed as the Incredible Hulk (this was the night after economics)...sweet.

Gulliver's Travels was playing in the Eastwood arcade. I have to finish that movie! I love Jack Black. Yeji and I couldn't stay because we had to go Korean BBQ with Doug, Andrew, Michael, Jason & Brian. It was a good night. Maybe because instead of playing pool, Andrew and I were watching The Vampire Diaries.

This was the weekend after. Horrific weekend but I got to see this chicken nugget loving person and these physics/chem nerds.

This is me chillin' with a nice cup of raspberry, pomegranate and something else tea with my new morning glory pens. All of my other pens ran out of ink - perhaps an indication of how much I studied.. right? Ahaha. Yeah thats my english extension essay.

Alesha and I went to Bees Knees after my exam just to catch up on things. I love me some Chai Latte. To think I bought a hot drink not so long ago and now I'm dying to swim in a pool of Ice Tea...

So Joanna finished her HSC after English Extension exam and I had a 9 day weekend so we decided to chill. Found the closest coke bottle that says "Kristy"... sorry Kristie I tried.

Hung at Gloria Jeans later on with Ming Jen, Betty, Ann - Alysse, Daniel, Raymond and Orrin. Turns out I have nothing do so I defaced a beautiful race horse. Spent the late hours of the night watching cat & scarry Mcdonald videos with Daniel.

Orrin's massive arm. What can I say. Didn't take a photograph of the other arm but I'm pretty sure it was along the lines of "onomonomnom I eat babies".

So as far as my HSC time line goes, we hung with Orrin after he finished Chemistry. On the way to Eastwood, we bumped into Raymond as well as Tiffany and Alison who were across the station on a different platform. On the way to the UFO park, Daniel Lu happened to cruise by in his gangster car. Orrin called Ricky up too.

Can't remember the specific details but Ricky, Orrin, Raymond, Joanna and I decided to go to the K place. Did you know they have the Tangled song in there? I know. I KNOW. Best Day. Ever.

The night ended at Daniel Lu's humble abode. I later had to trek up and down Jenkins Road for pizza but it was fun. The joys of not studying during HSC...

Decided to get crackin' on Visual Arts after the VA study day on Monday. Eugenie and I made Blu-Tac Sculptures based on Studio Ghibli animations.

My cute little study buddy! I love my cat. He ran away two weeks ago. If he had not come back in time, I think I would have failed - cat > HSC

Yeji and I hung out for brunch after Visual Arts Examination. So relieved that its all over.

It is a strange feeling.. realising that I will never have to go tutoring again.
What is also strange is that I will never have to touch my Economics Textbook ever again.

After our HSC Economics Exam, Alesha and I walked to Beesknees to find that it was closed.. so we had our (semi)ritual winter melon juice and caught up for things until her bus arrived.

Later that night instead of going to Macquarie to study I got persuaded to have Korean BBQ, ice cream and pool with Yeji & Le Boys. Lost respect for a couple of people, had grapefruit ice tea from ChaTime, watched the beginning of Gulliver's Travels with Yeji..I guess you can say it was a pretty chill night.

A car accident sent the couple to the emergency room and intensive care unit with broken bones and other injuries. But, even in the hospital, their concerns were each other.

"She was saying her chest hurt and what's wrong with Dad? Even laying there like that, she was worried about Dad," said the couple's son, Dennis Yeager, 52. "And his back was hurting and he was asking about Mom."

When it became clear that their conditions were not improving, the couple was moved into a room together in beds side-by-side where they could hold hands.

"They joined hands; his right hand, her left hand," Sheets said.

Gordon Yeager died at 3:38 p.m. He was no longer breathing, but the family was surprised by what his monitor showed.

"Someone in there said, 'Why, then, when we look at the monitor is the heart still beating?'" Sheets recalled. "The nurse said Dad was picking up Mom's heartbeat through Mom's hand."

"And we thought, 'Oh my gosh, Mom's heart is beating through him,'" Dennis Yeager said.

Norma Yeager died exactly an hour later.

"Dad used to say that a woman is always worth waiting for," Dennis Yeager said. "Dad waited an hour for her and held the door for her."

The inseparable couple was engaged and married within 12 hours in 1939 on the day Norma Yeager graduated from high school.

"She graduated from high school on May 26, 1939, at about 10 a.m., and at about 10 p.m. that night she was married to my dad at his sister's house," Sheets said.

The vibrant duo had a "very, very full life."
They worked as a team. They traveled together, they were in a bridge club together and they worked in a Chevrolet dealership, creamery and other businesses together.

"They always did everything together," Sheets said. "They weren't apart. They just weren't."
Dennis Yeager described his father as an "outgoing" and "hyper" man who was still working on the roof of his house and sitting cross-legged with no problem at age 90.

"The party didn't start until he showed up," he said. "He was the outgoing one and she supported him by being the giver. She supported Dad in everything. And he would've been lost without her."
Dennis Yeager said it is strange today to go into his parents' home and see the "two chairs side-by-side that they sat in all the time," empty. He said it was in those chairs that his parents cheered on the Arizona sports teams they loved and rarely missed an episode of "Wheel of Fortune" and "The Price Is Right."

According to their obituary, besides their children, the Yeagers are survived by her sister, Virginia Kell, and his brother, Roger Yeager, as well as 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Their grandson Randy Yeager said he has been inspired in his own 13-year marriage by his grandparents' loving and lasting marriage.

"Grandpa and I were talking this summer about all of the people getting divorced for this reason or that and he mentioned that nobody stays together anymore," Randy Yeager wrote to ABCNews.com in an email. "I told [him] that my wife Mara and I would never be getting a divorce and he said, 'That's because you're old school, like me!'

"That was one of the greatest compliments I could have ever received and one I will strive to live up to for the rest of my life," Randy Yeager said.
The couple were put in a casket together holding hands for their funeral this week, but are being cremated and will have their ashes mixed before burial.
"All their life has been together," Sheets said. "So, when it came to the funeral home, the family asked, 'Can we have them put in the casket together holding hands?' Because that's the way their life was."

Had an awesome day today :) It's not Saturday but I thought I'd summarise my week anyway.

So I finally decided to clean my room and ended up boxing everything. This is one of my "Megan's Box of Awesome Shit". The other photo is my cat using a spare piece of cardboard as a sofa/headrest thing. SAH CUTE.

So I was too tired to blog yesterday but basically my fantastical magical ex-whovian sister bought me a humungous ginormous Doctor Who Poster featuring the 10th & 11th Doctor/aka/David Tennant & Matt Smith as well as a TARDIS Cup. She gave it to me on the day of the Doctor Who finale (in UK time) so pretty much it is a Whovian/Fandom Initiation present/Graduation present/Many Forgotten Birthdays present and I am ever so grateful.

Oh and Rachel and I started this new thing where we mms pictures of our cats and this is my rendition of Seth as Sethey DesCatnel. You will get this if you watch New Girl. Oh and my dad got a new chefs hat and it pretty much fits over my whole head. Okay so the past week has been an emotional rollercoaster. Now that it is all toned down and we all resumed our busy HSC lives and I can finally give a proper summary of... well, everything.

I guess one week ago, it had not really hit me that it was going to be the last week I will ever see my friends on a daily basis. I guess I took it for granted all these 6 years and never actually realised how it has shaped me these past years.

Although I am positive I will see Ming almost everyday as she is one of those people you just bump into (why so social for), I don't think I can say the same for you Alison but I hope that you and I will make the effort to see each other next year.

So I have finally graduated. This is overwhelming. I guess it "hit me" this morning when I was doing the graduation video. I realised how close our grade is and how I will never see those 124 beautiful faces again on a daily basis...

Thursday was both heartbreaking and exciting at the same time. I loved how we spontaneously reenacted magicale in front of our teachers and parents and how we bawl our eyes out willingly in front of the whole student body, shamelessly professing our love for each other and the school.

So today I went to school, made it to roll call and found out my darling Tiffany Chan is a Prefect 2012.

English lecture was actually extremely enlightening and Maths was heaps fun (Mr Burley is so cute when it comes to taking a class photo!)

Had lunch with Daniel Suh at 1 @ Cuppa Jo's

- Frappe (Cranberry & other berries)

He also gave me his jersey & sport uniform for muck up but being the hobo I am, I didn't have a bag so we went to hot dollar and then bumped into Ming so he left me for Peter (CRY).

Bought him a green voodoo doll that resembles the Hulk but I decided to call it Megan because Daniel is my bitch.

Chilled in this secluded parking lot with Daniel Lu & Ming Jen while eating chips & gravy because we were waiting for Joanne!

So lets fast forward a few hours, past the sloth-paced grocery shopping...

Orrin, Christine & Raymond came over (along with my original guests Ming & Jo) to play singstar and chime...

It was very endearing watching Orrin cradle Twiddle Dee with so much love (L)

Together, joining our supreme housewife skills, we whipped up (by "we" I mean Jo, Ming and I) 2 KGs of vegetarian pasta.

Everyone eventually left and Joanne & I played a lonely two-man game of twister. We did get graduation stuff done okay?

I've having one of "those" moments again. I had a nice talk with Rachel after everyone left me on MSN but now I'm sitting by myself again listening to Without You - AJ Rafael on repeat. I can relate to it but everything is clouded with memories and signs that I find impossible to interpret.

I remember, last year, I got a really upset look from a close friend and he said "you've changed" and basically walked away from me. We never really spoke much afterwards.

I did a little "compare and contrast" exercise.

Old Megan is fairly down to earth. She speaks her mind but has the worst taste in clothes and haircuts. She charms boys with her natural charisma - I'm joking, it is because everything that blurts out of her mouth is cheese-flavoured. She crushed on guys very easily and think everyone is nice to her. Her mantra is friends over everyone else. I would say that Old Megan succeeds in the fact that she's got game. A lot more people liked her back then but I think if I had let her continue to lead my life she would be drinking and smoking out of peer pressure or pure naivety.

New Megan tries very hard not to judge people. She believes that everyone is inherently evil and knows for a fact that everyone is not as they seem but also realises that ignorance is bliss. She is extremely guarded and thinks most things through. She cares about what people think about her, hence she stopped wearing most of her strange t-shirts and avoids sweat pants in public. One of her best qualities is the fact that she does position herself in the opposing party's shoes before she says/does anything. Her downfall is her strong attachment to the past and strong dependency.

I also hate it when I'm challenged. Initially I'm offended at the fact that someone opposes my opinion and later on, I just hate myself for letting people rule my life. It is even worse when they are right.

So I forgot to blog on the first day of Spring...
It is okay though because I'm here now!

I'm speaking "Chinglish" in the above photo.. I know.. I shame my own race. To be fair he wrote "high five" in Korean first.

The next photo is of a tub of icecream which I managed to finish by myself - I know a lot of you have probably finished a tub by yourself but I don't have much of a sweet tooth and I feel sick after 2 scoops normally so this is a really huge thing for me. I feel sick already - why did I do that?

I wore my fob earrings today. It is a boy and a girl nerdy thing. It really hurts my sensitive ears because of the shit quality of it all but I love them. My cat ate one of my silver earrings so I'm super sad right now.

You can't see the holes in the sleeves for my shirt. Alison accompanied me to Westfield to buy a new outfit because I was severely under-dressed. Thank goodness I decided to blow the rest of my savings... oh dear what have I done!

I was shamelessly taking photos of myself in a carriage full of people. The photo on the right if me in the kitchen after I got back home. I wiped all my make up and decided to take a picture to compare.. I guess there isn't a DRAMATIC change right? Still the same Megan yes?

This is before the exhibition. Just a couple of Hornsby gals chilling in the isolated foodcourt. You can see my pen. I think I wasted all the ink... oopsie! :)

So the exhibition was definitely a success! There was a great turn out and everyone's Body of Work = AHMAZZZING.

Had a fun night with my favourite FOBs! I found out what nebulae were and bonded in a strange hut near a slide.
It would have been better if ALL the people I wanted to be there were there.. but I can't complain. Today was a good day!

I woke up just then. Above is Rachel's delicious macaroon. I'll admit it doesn't look like your typical macaroon but it tastes ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Got English & Maths 2u back. I'm extremely disappointed in my Belonging Paper but can't complain.. my essays were pretty legit so it just proves I'm not that creative ahah! Took a picture because I was impressed wit my writing efforts.

For lunch I had a Burrito. It wasn't as amazing as Daniel Lu said it'll be.. but maybe it is because I'm a girl. Mango Crusher was too.. fruity for my liking but I finished everything! (I guess I had to or my asian heart will shatter into a million pieces... but then again if it shattered, I'd probably try and sell the pieces to buy a bowl of rice!)

Today was a good day! Visual Art is finally out of the way and my results weren't as horrible as I expected. I know it sounds really unbelieveable now that I actually got my marks and everyone is probably thinking "Pfft, she's just saying that" but I honestly thought I was going to fail and I didn't put in enough effort this time around but I feel so blessed that my 2unit subjects turned out okay!

So above are my prints. These were failed prints because of the printer bands? I didn't notice but I guess it's good that he's honest. I asked if I could bring them back to school and he let me. I felt super hipster holding them to school...When I got to school, Yeji & I cleaned the VA block sink like immigrant housemaids.

I neglected my duties halfway and chilled with Sewon & Rachel in the cottage. Lunch with Daniel was delicious. Chicken & Mushroom Pie with Salad!

Later I embarked on a journey towards Joanna's party.

Joanna has proven to be an excellent host and driver. Hope you had a fantastic night because I certainly did!

Joanna drove Joanne, Kristen, CJ & I back to Epping.

CJ & I wore face masks and watched Across The Universe. It was a good movie apart from the fact that we swore at Lucy for the last half hour of the film and yelled "Prudence IS THAT YOU?" everytime an asian appeared on screen (you need to watch to get this).

This hulk green abomination is in fact a very delicious Citrus & Rosemary macaroon which I bought after the worst exam of my life (don't want to talk about it).

The cat was trying to bite off the pear stem. He obviously failed but it was super cute watching him.

My Trial Exam Adventures:

After I showered, my cat ran into the bathroom and snuggled into my towel so that was cute and I had to take a picture. The reason why I had a phone camera in the ready was because I was timing my shower time so I have enough studying time.

This is me experimenting with natural lighting from the sun instead of studying. I am also wearing nude lipstick.

While everyone was doing their legal exam I was studying for 3unit maths with a Lavender & Dark Chocolate macaroon from Thomas Dux.

This is my cat being existential. My room is relatively clean except for a couple of power cords and harddrives... at least I can see the floor.

Casually rocking up at Gloria Jeans with no intentions to flirt.
Taken on separate occasions but both with Ming Jen and the "circle of trust".

Me taking pictures of myself instead of studying for Extension 1. Do you like my sponge bob impression? I even have the two front tooth down - doppleganger? I think so. Look how precious my cat is. I love him so much! He just woke up so he looks a bit cranky.

Began an obsession with OFWGKTA & The Weeknd over the last couple of days. And that's my cat being precious again. Behind in the far left corner is a computer screen (unused) and in front of it is a massive collection of nail polish. Underneath that are notes which I do not wish to look at.

These shoes brought me very good luck. Stacked it a couple of times and it was so worth it.

Casually chilling in the park by myself with a cup of latte and a collection of The Beatles on shuffle. No I did not wake up and decide to sit in a park and pretend to be existential. I was actually on my way home from getting my Body of Work printed at Pennant Hills and I decided to buy a coffee on the way back and chill before I began to cram.

My frog pen broke so I gave the frog to Daniel. He's cramming for Module A and I helped him for half the day instead of doing maths but it is okay because I got an ego boost as well as a grilled chicken salad. Yum!

The distance would burn and claw at his mind when he thought of his beloved, sat in another world, untouchable. As he walked through the alien American streets, there was notable melancholy about his character. Many assumed him to be ill, for in some respects he was - he felt the symptoms of a disease;no appetite, sleepless nights and a lack of ambition and motivation. The disheartened soul silently passed through the restless tide of commuters and tourists as he headed through New York towards his lonely little flat. Many shoulders would collide with his but no attention was paid to the obstruction, nobody here deserved a second of his thoughts, for they were all directed back home, along with his emotions, as these were the only parts of him that could effortlessly cross the void between him and his love.

Nevertheless, when he sat down before that trusty desk, the etchings of a thousand letters proudly defining the top, that crushing distance vanished and he felt she was there, talking to him, kissing him, loving him. He took out his best pen, saved only for the best of occasions, and in his finest handwriting he painstakingly carved out individual letters, grouping them to form words, linking these to create sentences, and before his eyes formed the confessions of his heart, forever embodied on paper. The process was arduous and surprisingly long, or at least, surprising for many, but not for him. He knew the commitment love requires, and would readily devote every second of his life to proving his sincere, unimaginable adoration for that girl sat back home in England. The letter drew to a close, he signed it, kissed it, scented it (ever the fan of tradition), and as if it were a priceless artefact (for in his mind it was), he placed the delicate collection of paper into a pink envelope.

Walking to that letter box there was distinct leap and bounce in his step. Happiness and romance elevated him as he strode down the pavements, dancing smoothly and silkily between the barrage of suited men and women. If his shoulder caught that of another, he would turn, apologise with a gleaming smile, and carry on his pilgrimage, holding that precious package to his heart. Propelled by love, the journey was over as soon as it started, and with one final kiss the letter was gently placed into the postbox.

In Oxford, England, a fragile, brown haired girl sat eagerly by her door until that distinctive orange jacket glistened through the glass. Her heart and breathing stopped as the orange jacket fulfilled his duties, and her eyes watered as that beautiful pink shone through the waterfall of whites and browns, the smooth, personal handwriting burst free from the soulless typing of others. The paper had barely touched the floor before she had grabbed it, neatly opened it, and rejoiced in the love she had missed for so long. I am currently eating liquor chocolates to pass the cold winter nights. So the plan didn't follow as well as I thought but still, it was nice to be in the company of a good friend.

Today we measured how tall my shoes were, and they are only 11 cms which means I'm 171cms with heels on. I am so attached to those wedges, who wouldn't be when the model is called Morticia.

The plan is to wake up at 10:30, get dressed and eat some Tiger Lily toast (because it is my favourite right now). Then I will download 4 trial papers and walk to the library. After I will go to St Vinnies and find some decent flats or heels for tomorrow.

I don't know how I am going to live without True Blood, especially because now Eric is adorable and we see more character development and less sex.

Dinner with ~~Ming Jen and~~ the bros*. We had a lot of food and toilet story exchanges (which I refused to be a part of). I think my holidays would have been even better if I went out with the girls last Thursday. Everything feels like it's the Last Supper but don't worry guys, party at my house with bacon and booze** when my house gets renovated.

I also finished my first roll of experimental film today! Why this is so significant is because I used a camera with no focus and a broken lens and also they fact that I leaked light in for the first couple of shots so hopefully the don't turn shit. In theory the camera should still work as they follow the same principle of cardboard pinhole cameras. I'm crossing my fingers for good results.

Just watched Garfield & Aristocats with Twiddle Dee. Maybe I'm crazy but I swear he enjoyed it...
Still drinking my Ceylon Orange Pekoe tea. Feeling so chilled right now.

Today I bought a skirt, seamless underwear and birthday cards. I don't even understand how I could have lived 17 years and not own seamless underwear.. they are the best invention ever. Seriously I might even consider wearing leggings for pants. Nope, false alarm - I still think those are ridiculously shaming.

What other fascinating purchases did I make today...
I also bought a salad roll from Eastwood. They are $2.50. Looks dodgy but tastes amazing... so I'm undecided on whether I will buy another one. One of the girls didn't even know what it was. Damn private school kids with their abalone and lobsters!

I wrote maybe 100 words on the 2AM epiphanies I've developed over the past hour. I backspaced all of it.
Backspace everything and retype. Don't you wish that you can do that in life?

But then again... remember the time machine question that gets asked all the time?

"If you had a time machine, what would you change?"

I mean sure, the thought of a time machine sounds exciting. Millions of possibilities come to mind like "oh if I had done this better.." "oh what if I said this instead.." "I wonder what would have happen if I had been here instead of there..". But I think it is true when they say that the past shapes who we are in the present. I'm not happy now but I think in a few months I would look back and laugh at how silly I was for thinking so pessimistically.

I guess that's why they call it the human race.
What we crave most in this world is connection and I guess for some people it happens at first sight. It's when you know, you know. It's fate working its magic.

And it's great for them. They get to live in a pop song, ride the express train. But that's not the way it really works... for the rest of us, it's a bit less romantic. My heart felt like it was chained down and repeatedly beaten up. My lungs were tired, the air seemed way too thin. My hands were shaking so much when I was trying to pinch myself.

I went through all the "photos of me" on facebook realising the changes in fashion trends and my disgusting taste in haircuts. Also realised that I don't think I will ever think of myself as "beautiful", and will continue to scoff when told so. I do know however that all my smiles are genuine and I really cherish those memories.

If I could diagnose myself with phobias it would be :

Mostly the latter due to my obsession with sentiment and the need to force it onto everyone-else.

Looking back on the my volatile behaviour over the past 4 days.. I have realised that dwelling on things are not healthy and I have the potential to be a a drama queen for no reason what so ever.
I really can't explain everything right now or articulate my feelings. I just know now that there are no magical properties in penises* and I do not need to depend on a man to survive 2011.
Everything that is happening is one dimensional and I will not "read into things". I just want to say how grateful I am for everyone in my life.
